The Horrible Matuka (Beaded) was tied by Ken Broadhead. You will find many more of his exceptional beaded flies, as well as several other styles at The Flies of Ken Broadhead.

Ken's Notes: This fly comes from the Fly-Tyers Almanac (Boyle/Whitlock 1975). It’s also listed in Farrow and Allen’s Flies for Steelhead, but calls for orange badger for the wing/tail and pink chenille for the body. There is no reason you can’t tie this fly in any colors that suit you.
