Sakasa Kebari (variations)
These Sakasa Kebari variations were tied by Ken Broadhead. You will find many more of his exceptional flies at The Flies of Ken Broadhead. Ken's Notes: These flies are called Sakasa Kebari (reverse hackle fly), similar to my funnel flies. I haven't fished the steelhead version but the trout version is a killer. On the steelhead fly I used a blind fly hook. I simply cut and debur any standard hook. For the eye, I use griffins silk bead cord #2 or #4. Although available in many colors I use white and color it with sharpies.
