Pornge (Long-Shank Version)
This aptly named fly was created and tied by Master Tyer, Dr. David Burns. The name Pornge comes from its colors (pink-orange). Dave tied it and a short-shanked variation (which see) for a trip to the Klamath in April. I don't know how he did, but it looks like a fish-taker to me. I don't know how he did, but it looks like a fish-taker to me. You can see more of Dr. Burns' flies at The Flies of Dr. David Burns.
