Note: This fly works well on Sockeye, Coho, and Chum Salmon.

Tying instructions: Tie in the flat gold tinsel tag. Tie in small bunch of red squirrel for tail. Add a drop of cement to secure tail and tag, then tie in a length of gold mylar with the core removed. Wind the body forward tightly, leaving enough room for the collar, wing, head and bead eyes. Tie in an orange saddle hackle and wind two or three turns. Tie in a small bunch of red squirrel for the wing. Cut a piece of medium gold bead chain and tie on above point where wing was secured using figure eights with thread. Tie in a short length of orange chenille under the bead eyes. Make a couple wraps behind and under the eyes, and secure. Finish by wrapping a few times in front of the bead eyes, Whip finish and add a couple drops of head cement.
