Spade, Claret Guinea (Jackson) |
||||||||||||||||||
|
The pattern for this fly, originated by Jay Passmore of Dungannon, Ontario, came from the fine book by Dick Stewart and Farrow Allen, Flies for Steelhead. They write that this variation of the original Spade was developed by Alec Jackson of Kenmore, Washington and is effective as a fall pattern in the early morning or near dusk.
