Body3mm Gold bead head, Yellow tying thread, tying in Grizzle hackle. Build thorax with Olive Hare s Ear Yarn. Simple effective patterns. This variant incorporates a little White Marabou. See also Leons Grizzle Nymph
CommentsI have found these patterns both effective on Stillwater fishing and River fishing. Good pattern to try when all else seems to fail.
Fishing Tips On Stillwater among weed beds, retrieving slowly seems to attract takes. Fish will follow fly very close to bank before itaking it. For River fishing, I just allow it to drift in the current. takes can be hard when you least expect it!
