Schaadt's Egg Sac, Black

This pattern, attributed to Bill Schaadt for the Smith River system, also has a proven record of success on Northwest and European rivers. Fish this fly on a dead drift, close to the bottom, with a very slow retrieve. The fly can also be tied in other colors. See also Pink Egg Sac.
