Pink and Red Glennis

Name Pink and Red Glennis
Category Pacific Salmon
Thread Silver
Body Flat silver tinsel
Wing Layered pink or red feather on top, yellow feather under

The pattern for this fly came from the fine book by Barry M. Thornton, Saltwater Fly Fishing for Pacific Salmon. He writes the following, “I have a particular affinity for this fly as it has hooked numerous pinks and Coho for me in salt water. This fly gave me my first sense of confidence saltwater salmon fly fishing.”
