Green Swimmer

Name Green Swimmer
Category Chum Salmon
Hook Daiichi 2151, sizes 1
Thread Danville's Flat Waxed,  Chartreuse
Tail Silver Holographic Tinsel topped with Olive-Pearl Flashabou
Body Rear half, apple green chenille; front half chartreuse chenille; all  palmered with green-dyed grizzly saddle hackle
Collar Green -dyed grizzly saddle hackle
Head Chartreuse thread coated with Softex

Green Swimmer was designed as a low-water fly for Chum Salmon, when chum are holding in tailouts during low-water conditions. I purposely wanted a fly that would not be weighted down and ride deep, but would "swim" into the current.
