Chum Wooly Bugger

Name Chum Wooly Bugger
Category Pacific Salmon
Hook Daiichi 2220 Streamer Hook, Size 2 (4X-Long, 1X-Strong), Weighted with .025 - .035 lead-free wire
Thread Red
Tail Chartreuse marabou
Body Dark pink chenille
Hackle Chartreuse hackle palmered over entire body
Head Red

This wooly bugger (in the colors shown) took a couple chum last year. I used it when the conditions were right for a weighted fly of this size and type. It is really nothing more than a wooly bugger tied in chum colors. See Wooly Bugger for tying instructions and another example of the fly tied in good colors for Chum.
