George's Green was originated and tied by by Contributing Fly Tyer Mike Foster, as a variation of his original Egg Head.

Mike's Notes: George's Green was part of the Egg Head series and named after my father's fishing partner, George Locey, who along with Bernie Butler, Irwin Thompson and Grant King were kind enough to help a young fly tier learn a few things.
