Silver Stoat (variation)
Silver Stoat (variation) was tied by William Lovelace, one of the most prolific contributors on this site. You can find many more of his flies at his page on this site, The Flies of William Lovelace. Bill's Notes: Stoat is the dark phase of the Ermine; here Squirrel is substituted for stoat tail. If the fly is tied with fuller throat, wing and Jungle Cock Eyes it becomes the Vanbeck.
