Pearly Red
Pearly Red is a William Lovelace creation, submitted for the Salmonfly.Net issue "All that Glitters is not Gold". The pearlescent mylar is a glittery material that is not bulky which makes this fly attractive yet sinkable. See Bill's notes below. Read more about William Lovelace and see more of his flies at The Flies of William Lovelace. Bill's Notes: This is an old fly out of my boxes that I created in the late 1980s. The sparse flashy body with the added wire was intended to sink the fly quickly.
