Pearly Red is a William Lovelace creation, submitted for the Salmonfly.Net issue "All that Glitters is not Gold".  The pearlescent mylar is a glittery material that is not bulky which makes this fly attractive yet sinkable. See Bill's notes below.

Bill's Notes: This is an old fly out of my boxes that I created in the late 1980s. The sparse flashy body with the added wire was intended to sink the fly quickly.
