Clark's Herring 

Pattern: Clark's Herring

Hook: Alex Jackson Spey 3/0 with red conehead slipped onto eye of hook after thread body. Flat lead wrapped thorax only, after thread body and wrapped over after conehead.

Thread: Griffon's 14/0, Black

Tail: Peacock eye/fan, small

Body: Underbody Pearsall's Silver Stout to form tapered body over flat lead to tail. 1/4 Peacock herl after chartreuse floss/rayon body 3/4 to Red Conehead with chartreuse Emu and counterwind. (leave room for wing and beard over and before Conehead)

Tinsel/Counterwind: Medium Oval Gold tinsel, wrapping down peacock herl and chartreuse Emu (Morrison).

Wing: Polar Bear White/Chartreuse/Icelandic blue; Peacock sword herl topping (Rainbow Krystal flash optional after white PB); Jungle Cock.

Beard: White PB ( Wing and beard positioned to form body tied to tail when on the "Swing")

Head: Hard Head - Black
