Clark's Purple Menace 

Pattern: Clarks' Purple Menace

Hook: Alex Jackson Spey, Diachii, 3/0: Shewey.

Thread: Griffon's 14/0, Black: Shewey

Underbody: Pearsall's Silver Stout.

Overbody: Pearsall's Purple Silk Floss, Lavender silk floss palmered above Flat Silver embossed medium Tinsel.

Tinsel/Counterwind/Tag: small silver Oval Tinsel, Oval Gold tinsel medium, below flat embossed silver tinsel.

Spey Feather: Purple BEP, 1/2 stripped, tip of Spey feather in at tail of fly T.E. Pryce-Tannatt style, palmered forward with barbules flowing backward.

Beard: Hot Pink Guinea, 1/2 stripped, butt first, to tip of beard followed by Highlander green, tip first 1/2 stripped, 2-3 turns.

Shellback: Bronze Mallard, left and right 1/4" strip tied in T.E. Pryce-Tannatt style.

Head: Black Hard Head
