Thread: Griffon's Griffon's 14/0, Black

Tag: Silver Oval Tinsel Medium, Lagartun

Ribbing: Embossed Medium Tinsel, Backed by Oval Medium Tinsel; Fluorescent Pink Rayon, 4 Strand; Hot Pink Emu palmered after Fluorescent Pink Rayon

Counterwind: Small Oval Tinsel

Body: Pearsall's Underbody with Hot Orange 4 Strand Overbody; Jungle Cock after Tag

Spey Hackle: Hot Pink B.E.P.

Beard: Gadwall, Highlander Green.

Shellback: 1/4" Bronze Mallard strip Dyed Hot Orange, left strip tied in first, reverse thread, right strip tied, whip finishing each strip 3 wraps.

Clark's Shrimpy Spey was tied by Contributing Fly Tyer, Clark Lucas, who began showing his flies on this site in 1999. This fly by Clark is one of several commissioned by, and on display at the Cleveland Museum.
