General MacArthur is tied by Oregon Contributing Fly Tyer, Monte Smith. It is a wonderful rendition of one of Western Maine tyer, Carrie G. Stevens' (1888-1970) original streamers. She helped to popularize this style of tying in her day and this one from Monte's vise is an excellent example of how they should be tied.

You can see more of Monte's flies at The Flies of Monte Smith.
