This is the oldest Blue Star Memorial Highway Marker in Washington State. It is located on the east side of Main St (old US 99) at a roadside park a few blocks north of 39th St. The Kiggins Bowl is nearby. The Washington State Department of Transportation Vancouver Maintenance Area office is across the street. This marker was sponsored by the Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs in 1950.
