| The Band's name was actually derived from a misunderstanding of the name Lovecraft (as in the author H.P. Lovecraft) in a noisy pub. The word also reminded lead singer Nathan Khyber of the Land Speeders from the Star Wars films (he is a huge fan and collector) so he naturally liked it. |
