The year 2000 is here and Team Olson Racin' (TOR) is in full gear. Under the expertice of Jerry Olson, TOR is buliding 2 New Monte Carlo Wissota Street Stocks for the 2000 season. There has been over 80 man/woman hours put into building these two new cars from the ground up and approximately another 80 hours till there completely done. With a shop located in Superior, WI TOR has been busy finding sponsors and gaining as much knowledge that they can to maintain there level at the top of their division.
Under the guidance of Jerry Olson (Founder of Olson Racin') Olson Racin' is one the top teams in Wissota Racing. With his 19 yrs of racing experience he has tought his two young drivers Jeramie (20yrs old) and Joe (19yrs old) to learn to be calm, cool, and collective on the track.
Jeramie will be driving the #99 and Joe will be driving the #29. These to drivers have a lot to offer. They started out in go-karts, like many of the Winston Cup drivers, in 1994. They raced karts from 1994 to 1997, then switched to racing Wissota Street Stocks in 1998. With 2yrs in Wissota Street Stocks these young men feel confident & secure in what the future holds. Look for these young drivers in 2000 and beyond to be a strong contender.
