Episode Summary:
Buffy is a little stressed by recent events, and decides to take out her fear on those closest to her. Then, using some mystical figurines, she heads into another dimension to find out more about the first Slayer. This leaves her newly shaken friends to defeat a demon and find a way to get Buffy back.
Review:
Wow. I felt like part of the unwilling congregation at the "Holier-than-thou" Slayer church. What is up with this new Buffy? The one thing I always liked about Buffy was that she never had the answer. She was never perfect or all knowing—she worked, like the rest of us, to do her best, even though she was never sure of where it might take her. In a rapid turnaround, she is suddenly the one with the answers, and she is more than happy to enlighten everyone she knows as to their faults, as obnoxiously as possible.
