Barbarian is defeated by Darkstorm! Tag Team Rematch set for April 22 in Whitesville!
PRESS RELEASE:
Former WWF, WCW star the Barbarian made his WOW debut and was very sneakily outsmarted into a loss at the hand of Eric Darkstorm and the Evil MF'ers. Darkstorm used a chain the whole match to gain an advantage over the legend, which kept him off his feet for most of the match. He used a series of holds to weaken the bigger mans back, and used to his quickness to overcome the Barbarian's massive power. Towards the end of the match when it looked as Darkstorm was gonna nail Barbarian in the face with the chain, he dropped the chain and Barbarian picked it up. While the ref was distracted, and Barbarian held ther chain, Darkstorm fell down and pretended he had been with the chain. When the ref turned around and saw Darkstorm laying on the mat holding his head and the Barbarian holding an illegal object, he had no choice but to award the match to Darkstorm by DQ. This infuriated the Barbarian and he and Chance Prophet had their way with the cowardly Evil MF'ers. Barbarian and Prophet placed a challenge to any 2 of them to get in the ring with them in a tag team match on Friday April 22 in Whitesville. This will definatley be one you don't want to miss!
Also on the card, Ice was unsuccesful in his chance at heavyweight gold against the veteran Chance Prophet. Ina very brutal match that went back and forth, Prophet came out on top on the end. It appeared as though Ice just didn't have the stamina to hang with Prophet. Word in the back is that Ice is asking for one more shot at the gold.
After being savagely gang style attacked last week out of the crowd, Devon Davis made his professional wrestling debut this week in tag team action tagging with JV Insanity against the tag team champion American Idols. During the match, JV Insanity, suffered a very deep gash in his lip losing a lot of blood. Devon Davis was very impressive in his debut and it looked as though he and Insanity might score an upset. The experience edge led the Idols to a victory but in a very hard fought battle.
Also on the card, Kris King scored an impressive victory over Eric Steel in an all out war. The Cuban Assassin defeated Chad Cross, and Appalachian Champ Phil Anderson defeated the former Appalachian Champ and 14 year veteran Johnny Blast. W.O.W. returns to Whitesville next Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

Ice upsets Prophet in non title bout, Darkstorm attacks trainees
PRESS RELEASE:
In perhaps one of the most shocking matches this year, Ice defeated Chance Prophet and Raw Talent in 3 way, non title action. Ice has had a new attitude as of late and says he's gonna be the next Heavyweight Champion of West Virginia. Up until Friday night this may have been hard for anyone to believe. He's offered a challenge to Prophet next week to prove this was no fluke. Only way to find out will be to join us next Friday at 7:30 pm.
Eric Darkstorm was back in the building this week. In a disgusting attempt to glorify himself, he savagely attacked 2 defenseless local trainees with the help of Eric Steel, Phil Anderson, and Raw Talent. Having seen enough of the drama, TJ Phillips and Jason Kincaid came out to the ring to introduce Darkstorm to their new trainee who has competed in MMA for several years, Adam Rivera. Kincaid said he would handle Darkstorm himself, bue he had already been placed in a match for the tag titles this week. He said Darkstorm has been ducking his challenge of a best 2 out of 3 falls match but that match has been signed to take place at a date TBA. Rivera was very impressive in his debut, but the veteran Darkstorm was able to pull off an embarrasing victory after slapping Rivera in the face and knocking him out cold with an enziguri. The war between Kincaid and Darkstorm is reaching new heights.
In other tag team action, Kris King and Jowad Wayne defeated 2 of the Evil MFer's Eric Steel and Phil Anderson. King continues to be very impressive each week and his attitude has been praised by management. Look for Kris King to be in some sort of title picture as it seems his skills are rarely matched in the ring.
New Age Punishers were ONCE AGAIN screwed out of the tag team titles as they won the match with the American Idols by DQ. It's only a matter of time before they settle this in a no DQ match to determine the true champions. Belltime once again is 7:30 this Friday night. Come support wrestling in your community it's only $8.

Anderson sells out for the gold; Jean Madrid makes an impact; New Age Punishers come an inch from tag titles!
PRESS RELEASE:
"Big" Phil Anderson showed his true colors last Friday night when he turned on his brother Jowad Wayne to win the W.O.W. Appalachian Championship. Fans in Whitesville could not believe their eyes as Anderson walked away with Eric Steel showing his kind ways as of late were just pretend! Wayne has vowed revenge TOMORROW NIGHT in Whitesville, belltime 7:30. pm.
In other news Jean Madrid made a very impressive, and destructive, debut last week and he has already been signed to return. We will keep you posted as we hear more about this announcement.
Chance Prophet could not be stopped by the 260 lb Canadian Lance Erikson. Erikson has held multiple championships all across the East Coast including the WXO/NACW Heavyweight Title, but could not defeat Chance Prophet. Congratulations to Chance on the victory.
Raw Talent and Eric Darkstorm are back from New York, and have been quoted to saying they can't wait to rub it in the fans' faces about Anderson's cowardly betrayal of his brother Jowad Wayne. Anything is possible when Talent, Darkstorm, Steel and Anderson are all in the same building on the same page.
Just as it seemed the New Age Punishers (TJ Phillips and Jason Kincaid) were going to secure the West Virginia Tag Team Championships, the American Idols pulled another trick and held on to their titles. It seems as if it's only a matter of time before the Punishers are wearing gold around their waist! Come to Whitesville tomorrow night to help support them and the rest of your favorite W.O.W. superstars. Once again belltime is 7:30 pm and all tickets are $8 at the door!

Former WCW star Bunkhouse Bunk can't get the job done on W.O.W. Heavyweight Champ Chance Prophet
PRESS RELEASE:
Former World Championship Wrestling superstar, Bunkhouse Buck, made his official W.O.W. debut in front of a jam PACKED house on Friday night in Whitesville, with every intention of taking the West Virginia Heavyweight Championship back home to Knoxville. His plans were foiled after an attempt to cost Prophet the title by Eric Steel and Eric Darkstorm went sour. After the ref was down, Steel tripped Prophet which enabled Bunkhouse Buck to savagely whip the champion with his leather belt. When it looked as though a new champion would be crowned, DOINK THE CLOWN, hit the ring and hit Bunkhouse, which led to Chance Prophet hitting his Snapliner for the 1-2-3. After the match, Doink issued a challenge to Bunkhouse Buck for the following night in Racine. Congratulations to Prophet for scoring the upset and keeping the W.O.W. Heavyweight Championship in West Virginia!
