Jowad Wayne wins Appalachian Championship!
PRESS RELEASE: Last night in Racine, WV, Jowad Wayne defeated all odds, as he dethroned Appalachian Champion Eric Steel to become the NEW Wrestlers of West Virginia Appalacian Champion! With Raw Talent in Brooklyn, NY visiting family, Eric Darkstorm banged up from a brutal hardcore match, and Phil Anderson's recent "by the book" attitude, Eric Steel had to face Wayne, one on one, without his posse, and Jowad Wayne was victorious over the 360 lb Steel. What does this mean will happen to the scheduled Appalachian Championship match between Eric Steel and Kris King on 2/26 at the St. Albans Armory? How long can Wayne hold on to the belt? What will happen when the rest of the Evil mf'ers get in the same building? Only time will tell..

Street Fight goes to the LIMITS!, Darkstorm almost steals title, Action packed Danville card!
PRESS RELEASE:
In perhaps the most brutal match of the new year, Jowad Wayne once again prevailed over Eric Steel to retain the Appalachian Championship! From fighting in the ring, to jumping off the concession stand, to fighting out in the street, this match truly lived up to its title of a "street fight"! With the odds clearly against Wayne, battling the 375 lb Eric Steel, having Darkstorm and Raw Talent barred from ringside was the only equalizer he needed to retain the championship.
In other action, when it looked as though The New Age Punishers (TJ Phillips and Jason Kincaid) were on the brink of their first Tag Team Title run, Eric Darkstorm interjected himself in the match pushing Kincaid from the top rope as he was about to hit their finisher, and The American Idols scored the pinfall! Kincaid and Phillips issued an open challenge to Darkstorm down the road, as he has been a constant thorn in their side. Only time will settle this ongoing feud!
In the main event of the evening, Chance Prophet met Eric Darkstorm. Darkstorm used a variety of innovative backbreakers to try and injure the champs back. His strategy was working pretty well and kept Prophet down for most of the match, until Prophet kicked out of his trademark rolling enziguri in the corner. Darkstorm, who was accompanied to ringside by Eric Steel, distracted the ref so Steel could slide the championship belt into the ring. With the ref distracted by Steel on the apron, Darkstorm nailed Prophet in the face with the championship belt and scored the pinfall! He was announced as the NEW W.O.W. Heavyweight Champion and he and Steel began to celebrate. Just when they thought they had done it, Phil Anderson came to ringside and told the referee what had happened. He demanded the match be restarted much to the disbelief of Darkstorm. As he argued with the ref, Chance Prophet hit him with his devastating Snapliner finisher, and the true champion won in the end.

Chance Prophet retains Heavyweight Championship
PRESS RELEASE:
St Albans, WV,
Due to the Cuban Assassin not being able to appear due to a medical emergency, Chris Vega was selected to fill in as the #1 contender for the W.O.W. Heavyweight Championship of West Virginia! After a grueling back and forth battle between the W.O.W. Tag Team and Heavyweight Champions, Chance Prophet prevailed and successfully retained the Heavyweight Championship of West Virginia. Vega pulled out all the stops including several high risk moves such as a top rope cross body to the floor, as he was determined in becoming a 2 title holder in W.O.W. After the match, Eric Darkstorm, Eric Steel, and Phil Anderson hit the ring and assaulted Chance Prophet, leaving him laying. Prophet regained his composure and issued a challenge to all 3 of them wether it be 1 on 1 or in 6 man tag team action for the next time they return to St. Albans.

Step Brothers Jowad Wayne and Phil Anderson together? Kincaid/Phillips defeat Darkstorm and Talent
PRESS RELEASE:
Whitesville, WV,
After a 20 minute war between 2 arch enemy tag teams, Jason Kincaid and TJ Phillips prevailed over Raw Talent and Eric Darkstorm. The crowd was extremely hot for the team of Kincaid and Phillips and were very excited to see them win the match. After the match, a confrontation was brewing between Phil Anderson and the rest of the Evil MF'ers. Phil shook the winning teams hands in an act of good sportsmanship, rarely seen out of their crew, which infuriated the losing team of Talent and Darkstorm, and Eric Steel. They demanded Phil to shake their hands and he refused to. Darkstorm gave Phil one last chance in which he still refused, so Darkstorm slapped him across the face and the rest of the Evil Mf'ers attempted to "beat some sense" into Phil, as they called it, until Phillips and Kincaid ran them to the back.
The very next match was to be an Appalachian Title rematch from last Saturday in Racine pitting Eric Steel against reigning champion, Jowad Wayne. Of course Talent and Darkstorm accompanied Steel to the ring, in an attempt to steal (no pun intended) the Appalachian Title away from Wayne. Phil Anderson came out to the ring as well, not to support Steel, but to make sure his step brother, Jowad Wayne, would not be cheated out of his belt. Late into the match, as Eric Steel went to hit Wayne in the face with his Appalachian Championship. At the exact time Steel swung the belt at the champ, Anderson turned the ref to see the hit which ruled an instant Disqualification, and still champion, Jowad Wayne.
After the match was over, W.O.W. Matchmaker John Cooper got on the mic, and set up a No Holds Barred Appalachian Championship match for next week betwene Steel and Wayne, with Raw Talent and Eric Darkstorm barred from the building!!

Kincaid out to prove he's the better man! Chance Prophet will defend his title against doctor's orders?
PRESS RELEASE:
After a very distasteful display of sportsmanship 2 weeks ago in Whitesville, Jason Kincaid has issued a special challenge to Eric Darkstorm. He said last week that he knows Darkstorm is better than stooping to new lows and attacking him from behind, leaving Kincaid laying unconscious at the 2/5 event. Last week after the haneous gang-style beatdown by Raw Talent, Darkstorm and Phil Anderson, on Jowad Wayne, Johnny Blast and Chance Prophet, Kincaid couldn't take it any more and he and TJ Phillips hit the ring with equalizing steel chairs to stop the assault. Kincaid grabbed the microphone and placed a challenge to Darkstorm THIS WEEK, and has asked that Darkstorm does not resort to thug-tactics, so they can have a clean match to see who truly is the better man. Also signed for this week in Whitesville, is the return of W.O.W. Appalachian Champion "Mr Sex Appeal" Eric Steel! He has vowed to extract revenge on Jowad Wayne for hurting his knee and keeping him at home for a week. W.O.W. Champion, Chance Prophet will defend his championship against Raw Talent! Prophet said that just because his shoulder has been repeatedly injured week after week, doesn't mean he can't defeat Raw Talent. Chance Prophet is wrestling against doctor's orders, maybe he has more guts than brains. After winning their #1 contendership match, Kris King and Mister X, will get their shot at W.O.W. Tag Team Champions, Chris Vega and Bret Sharp! All this plus much more exciting action!!
