Have you ever Thought

A poem for the undecided
Have you ever thought?
Of Him who died for You?
Have you ever thought?
It was just for You?
A back beaten
Him mocked and ridiculed
Picture a crown of thorns
Placed upon his brow
Piercing into His skull!
Drops of blood drop to the ground!
Imagine All who knew him
Denouncing the knowladge of
Him!

Judas: who sold him
for thirty pieces
of Silver

Peter:
Who denied knowing Him
Not once
But three times!

Do you see Him?
His hands pierced
His side slain?!

But even this was not His true pain
Imagine the penalty for all Sin
For all who were and were to come
Placed upon His shoulders
weighing upon Him
Unlike any weight known to us

Will 'You' turn your back upon this?
Let His sacrifice for
You
Be in vain?

Do you think no one loves you?
Look at this one.
He who took your wrongs
and can make them right
For you
Please don't turn your back
on Him

He loves You
He is calling You
Will you
