11 November 99 Update!

I have some terrific news to report!   Our allies at Cyberguards  (who want to track down and possibly sue Robert Lavelle for all his spamming)  have just just posted an update on their website.

It says that they have an "exact current and correct address" of the spammer, Robert Lavelle!   In case you're wondering, I don't know what it is; I'm not privy to anything that goes on at that site.   But they say they have turned the address over to "the authorities" (probably the FBI, since it is now involved in the search for Lavelle.)

I can't express how happy this news makes me!  They might actually be on the verge of catching this guy!  The offensive spam may finally come to an end soon.  (Check their site for the whole update; it's at the bottom. You can also email them and ask to be included in any lawsuit they might bring against the spammer.)

I know it might be premature to say this, since they have not yet apprehended the spammer.  But I just wanted to thank everyone who has helped to bring us so far.  Your emails, message board posts, diligent tracking of his IP addresses and such, have been such a great help.  None of us could have come this far alone, but together we are making a big difference!  Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
