Emma worked for two years with WDT in London and made many good friends there. One of her closest friends was Elisabeth whom Emma  missed tremendously when she returned to her home in France. Emma's remaining colleagues remember Emma as a lively and enthusiastic member of the team and they were very supportive of her as she completed her Master's Degree in Occupational Psychology and excitedly prepared for America. In this photo, Emma is the one in the shorts! 

Just before she left for America, Emma went to visit Elisabeth and her family in Paris to say goodbye. 

This was a special weekend for Emma and she was delighted to get to know Elisabeth's baby, Maxence. Although Emma would never have a child of her own, the photo of her holding Maxence gives some clue as to the joy it would have been to her to have her own baby.
