Yo La Tengo  An unofficial site.  Not very sophisticated, but it includes lotsa good links to YLT stuff and a message board.
Fridge  Like their name: cool.  Britain's premier post-rock outfit virtually unheard of in the US.  Shame.
Billy Mahonie  UK post-rock band admittedly heavily influenced by Aerial M, Tortoise and other US shoe gazers.  "The Big Dig" is highly recommended by your webmaster (if only cos they answered my e-mail).  Very good site too with lots of pics, history, MP3s, discography - the usual useful stuff. 
Mouse on Mars  Germanic electronic.  Annoying Shockware.

Stereolab Anglo-Brit collective with penchant for Kraut Rock, 50's lounge music, analogue keyboards and Marxist lyrics.  Not too much info on the band, but sound clips and concert info.

Dead Lyrics  Here's an interesting one even if you're not a Dead-Head.  Try it out!
Sigur Ros  Ethereal Icelandic band in the vein of ethereal Icelandic bands.  Reykjavik is dead cool (and in April: cold).
bobdylan.com  All you'll ever need to know about what Bobby wants you to know about him and his musick.  Bob gets an Oscar - cool!

Matador Records  The fabulous official site of the fabulous Matador Records - YLT, Mogwai, Cornelius, Pavement and loads of other marvellous bands.  Marvellously fabulous.
Southern Studios Very useful resource on alternative bands, including the splendid Don Caballero, Pittsburgh’s finest. 
Thrill Jockey  Independent record label from Chicago specialising in indie, lo-fi, post-rock, electronics - Trans Am, Tortoise, Gastr, Mouse on Mars etc 
Drag City  Royal Trux, Jim O'Rourke, David Grubbs, Stereolab (US label) and other suspects. 
Constellation  Montreal based label specialising in great modern music soundscapers and hand designed and crafted packaging.  Highly recommended.
Alien8 Recordings  If you like quirky avant garde Canadian stuff, this is your label!  Home to noise acts like Japan's Merzbow.
Kitty-yo  Here Kitty, Kitty.  Berlin based indi-label.  The diverse likes of Laub, Schwermut Forest, Surrogat, To Rococo Rot and Couch.  Meow!
Kranky  by name and by nature.  Labradford, godspeed!, Bowery Electric and that ilk.
