Vacation 2000 ~ Gallery 6

Fremont Street

A view of Fremont Street at night. The sign you see in the background is the famous Vegas Vic.
Las Vegas Strip Traffic

Pedestrians walking along Las Vegas Blvd. You might notice the sidewalk hucksters (who always seem to be Mexican teenagers) handing out flyers for "personal services" along the curb.
Stardust Sign

Another view of the Stardust sign with the "Wayne Newton Theatre" below it. No I did not see Wayne. His show did not start until a month or so after I left.
Slots at the Airport

They think of everything. Even the stinking airport has slot machines. I would advice NEVER to play these when you visit because word is that they only have about 50% payback.
Bellagio Fountains

This is probably my best picture of the fountain show at the Bellagio, and it just doesn't do justice. The fountains can literally shoot water to the top of the hotel. A definite must see if you're out there.
Paris Sign

A daytime view of the Paris sign with its multicolor display below it. Absolutely beautiful at night (see gallery 5).
Stratosphere

The adjoining hotel to the Stratosphere tower. It was being expanded upon when I was there (cranes in the background), even though the property was said to be massively in debt.
Bally's Entrance

The impressive neon walkway into Bally's Casino. I would hate to have their light bill.
Olympic Garden

Well, I had to let my morals (not to mention money) go somewhere. Let me state that this was the ONLY strip club I visited while in Vegas....3 TIMES. Yes, I blew an OBSCENE amount of dough in here.
Las Vegas Hilton

The Las Vegas Hilton on Paradise Road, just off the strip. This was shot close to where the old Landmark Hotel used to stand. My parents stayed in the Landmark when they visited Vegas in 1985.
