Have a cup of coffee... or a glass of milk..
in Annie's "dream" Kitchen...*S*...
and sample some old, tried and true recipes...

   Old Fashioned Apple Crisp

*Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
You will need: 3/4 cup flour   1 cup sugar   2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup Pet milk   1 tbsp. butter   3 cups sliced apples
and 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
Sift together: flour, sugar and baking powder.
Add milk, then apples and nuts.
Topping
2 tbsp. brown sugar   1/3 cup flour   2 tbsp. soft butter or margarine.
Mix with fork until "crumbly" then sprinkle over top.
Bake for 35 minutes, (if topping gets too brown, cover with foil).

   Foxcatcher's Fantastic Stuffing

This is guaranteed to make even a "stuffing hater" ask for more !!!

How about a little music while you're cooking??

"A Taste of Honey"

*Makes enuff for 4-6 people... yummmmm !

Put giblets, heart and neck into a decent size pot, (pressure cooker size).
Add water almost to top,1/4 cup chopped onions, season to taste and simmer for about two hours.
In the meantime, in a LARGE bowl, put 1/2 bag Pepperidge Farm Seasoned Stuffing
1/2 bag Pepperidge Farm Cornbread Stuffing plus a few pieces of old bread,
(break up the bread into small pieces). Add 1/2 cup chopped onions,
1/2 cup chopped celery (optional), salt, pepper and garlic powder.
When the giblets, etc. are done, dispose of the neck (!) and then you have two choices:
1. Mince the rest by hand or.... 2. Put them in a food processor, (I prefer this method).
Add them to your stuffing mixture along with one egg and enough of the
seasoned water to make it VERY moist. Toss together and stuff that bird!!
Use the rest of the seasoned water to baste the turkey 'n stuffing on the outside.

   Tater Tot Pie

This is GREAT for a TEEN to fix for WORKING PARENTS....
You'll need: One-2lb. package of tater tots.
   2 lbs. hamburger.
2 cans cream of mushroom soup.
   1 jar Cheese Whiz.
Cook hamburger, drain and mix with soup and cheese.
Pour mixture into greased casserole dish and cover with tater tots.
*Bake at 350 degrees 'till tater tots are brown.
