Over the summer there have been many new and exciting movies,
here are some listed below and a brief synopsis of each movie:
Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl: Based on the classic theme park ride, swashbuckling rogue Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) teams up with a local blacksmith, Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), to rescue the kidnapped governor's daughter from the evil Captain Blackheart and his band of pirates who are neither alive nor dead, thanks to an ancient curse.
Bad Boys II: Will Smith and Martin Lawrence return as buddy-detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett on a case that leads them to a giant criminal conspiracy in London. Meanwhile, Lowrey’s feelings for Burnett’s younger sister (Gabrielle Union) make their jobs more complicated.
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life: Angelina Jolie returns as mighty archeologist/adventurer Lara Croft in a second action-packed story based on the popular video game. This time, Lara must match wits with Chen Lo, the head of a Chinese crime syndicate, as they both search for a hidden underwater treasure -- the mythical Pandora's Box.
Johnny English: Accident-prone British secret agent Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson) must rescue the crown jewels and save queen and country from the schemes of a conniving French businessman (John Malkovich) in this spy spoof. Pop singer Natalie Imbruglia makes her acting debut as a special agent.
