Loot Distribution
Loot is distributed through a Raid Point and Public Claims process. Suggestions, complaints, special considerations etc... should be presented to the officer calling the loot privately and maturely. However, none of the above should cause disruption to /gu or /rs or the raid itself. The officers decisions on awarding loot are final.

Please remember the simple concepts;
"There's more where that came from" and
"If we killed it once, we sure as hell can kill it again".

Public Claims System:

1. The item will be linked and the point cost called in /gu or /rs and then the officer will ask, "Any claims on _______ for __ points?"

2. If you want it say, "Claim" in the appropriate channel.

3. Last call for claims will be made.

4. Loot Officer will ask, "Any withdraws?"

5. If someone else asked for the same thing that you did and you honestly think they should have it more, withdraw. If you still want to claim that is fine too, its your decision.

6. The Attendance/Loot Officer will review the claimants current Point Totals and award the item based off of the highest total.

Raid Point System
*** THIS SYSTEM WILL BE ADJUSTED AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS WE WORK OUT ANY BUGS OR IMBALANCES***

Point System

Raid Value = Time + Difficulty
Item Value = Difficulty + Rarity

Raid Point (RP) Value Table
Time
Under 2 hours 1 pt
2-4 hours 2 pts
5-6 hours 3 pts
6+hours 4 pts

Difficulty
2-3 Groups 2 pts
4-5 Groups 4 pts
6+ Groups 6 pts

Minimum RP Value = 1 pt
Maximum RP Value = 10 pts
+1 Bonus Points for first kill of a Boss Mob.

- Time: Each Player must spend at least half of the total time of the raid in order to accrue RP’s based off Time.

- Difficulty: RP earned for Difficulty apply to those engaged in the actual fight with a Boss Mob. Difficulty of the Boss Mob is based off the number of required groups for success, not the actual number of raid attendee’s. (i.e. 60 people show up for a 25 person raid). Raid Point Difficulty levels will decrease as the guild progresses.

Main Character Item Point (IP) Value Table
Difficulty
2-3 Groups 5 pts
4-5 Groups 10 pts
6+ Groups 15 pts

Rarity
*Uncontested 5 pts
Common 5 pts
Uncommon 10 pts
Rare 20 pts
Ultra Rare 30 pts

Minimum IP Value = 5 pts
Maximum IP Value = 45 pts

Alternate / Non-User Item Point (IP) Value Table
Difficulty
2-3 Groups 5 pts
4-5 Groups 10 pts
6+ Groups 15 pts

Rarity
*Uncontested 5 pts
Common 10 pts
Uncommon 15 pts
Rare 25 pts
Ultra Rare 40 pts

Minimum IP Value = 5 pts
Maximum IP Value = 55 pts

- Difficulty: Item Difficulty is based off of the number of groups required to obtain the item, not the actual number of raid attendee’s. (i.e. 60 people show up for a 25 person raid). Item Difficulty levels will decrease as the guild progresses.

- Rarity: Item Rarity is based off of the frequency or availability of the item through normal raiding. Armor drop pieces from Velious will have a Common Rarity (except for Legs and BP’s which will be Uncommon). Items off of Boss Mobs will range from Uncommon to Ultra Rare until we have killed that particular Boss enough times to consider the item Common.

*Uncontested Items: Uncontested Items are items that only one person claims on, regardless of Main or ALT. There is a nominal point cost of 5 pts for Uncontested Items, however Difficulty costs do not apply.

Point Pools
Every member has one Point Pool regardless of number of characters guilded. Each player must select their MAIN character to be listed in the Guild Point listing. MAIN’s are also chosen in the event that an item is claimed for an ALT.

Awarding Items
Officers will announce items as they drop and the IP Value. The Officer will then ask if there are any CLAIMS. Do not send tells to the Officers when loot is first announced – wait to make your CLAIM in the appropriate raid channel when the item you want is called. In most cases items will be awarded based off the highest Point Pool total amongst the claimants. However, there will be occasions that the Officers deem to dictate an item to a player that may not have the highest Point Pool. That player is still required to pay the full IP Value.

Misc
-Probationary Members: Probationary Members will not accrue points in their Point Pool until becoming a full time member.

-Negative Point Pools: Any Player may claim or spend into the negatives of their Point Pool on any item provided that they do not go negative points more then half the IP value.

Unclaimed Items:
-NO DROP: Unclaimed NO DROP items will be offered to Probationary Members or guests at the raid. If no Probationary Member or guest needs the item it is destroyed by an Officer. There will be no waiting for freebies by bucking the odds that no one wants the item so you don’t have to pay points. You either CLAIM or you don’t. Officers may want to mention and give a LAST CHANCE if there are no claims on an item before destroying it.

-DROPPABLE: Unclaimed DROPPABLE items will be collected by an Officer and either put up for request in the Guild Vault, offered to Probationary Members or guests, or sold for guild funds.

Documenting
The Raid Attendance Officer will be responsible for keeping a current raid listing and a current Point Pool listing in the Private Members Forum.

Loot Eligibility
Loot will be awarded first to raid attendees (including main characters, probationary members and guests) unless special circumstances apply. Special circumstances will generally be announced before the raid, however not always.

ALT's attending a raid are eligible for loot but any claims awarded will be recorded and counted in the Main characters Personal Loot History. Items for ALT's not in attendance will need to be claimed through the Guild Vault.

Loot History
Loot will be tracked and recorded in a Raid History report including non-distributed drops such as gems, unclaimed spells and pp collected.

Each member (including thier ALT's) will have a *Personal Loot History including item, raid or mob, date received available for all members to review.

Guild Vault
Unclaimed Loot will be tracked and recorded in a regularly updated Guild Vault and Spell Vault. Unclaimed Loot will be stored on an officer made mule in the Bazaar. Currently these mules are:

  • Peach - Guild Trader Mule (Asheylzor)
  • Zekee - Guild Vault Mule (Bhit)

Items gathered by officers or members for Multi-questing will be listed in the Vault Listing with a note of which character has the item available for MQ. Items desired for MQ need to be claimed through the Vault.

Vault Access

All full time Members are eligible to make a request from the Guild Vault and the Spell Vault. Requests will be honored based off of the officer decisions regardless of whether the item is for a Main or Alt.

Probationary Members cannot make a claim from the Guild Vault or Spell Vault.

Spell requests will be honored based off of the officer decisions regardless of whether the spell is for a Main or Alt. Spells will be distributed based off of cabaility to scribe the spell when the request is made.

Donations / Trade-in's / Vault Sales

Any item donated, traded in or "passed down" to the Guild Vault becomes permanent property of the guild until distributed; including the potential sale of the item. Donations are greatly appreciated but not required.

Some items in the Vault will be deemed sellable for profit by the officers at any given time. If you would like to request an item that is for sale by the Guild Trader Mule you are responsible for contacting the officer in charge of the Mule to make your request before the item is sold.
