The Gameboy Advance will be attached through a cable sold seperatly. There are three reasons why you would want to do this. One of them is that if you are playing a football game for Gamecube and want your plays be a secret to the other player you can choose them on the GBA. Another reason is if you don't want to spend the money on another controller, you could just buy the cable, which will be cheaper of course. The other great reason is that the Gameboy Advance games will be able to be seen on the TV with the connection instead of the tiny GBA screen. The games would be and look just like if they were on the GBA, only bigger.
