FOCUS ON SCREENWRITERS
In February, TCM is spotlighting Great Film Writers and on our web site you can get our handy A to Z glossary of all the screenwriters featured in our series. Plus we are featuring the transcripts of recent interviews with Scott Frank (Oscar nominated for his screenplay for "Out of Sight") and Ernest Lehman, the Oscar-nominated screenwriter of "West Side Story" & "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" Beginning the week of Feb. 5, we will also be featuring some exclusive video clips from their interviews, including Lehman discussing his collaboration with Alfred Hitchcock on "North By Northwest."

A SALUTE TO BLACK FILM PIONEERS
Black History Month is also being celebrated at TCM and we are featuring film articles on "Body and Soul" (1925 silent version starring Paul Robeson), "Hallelujah," "The Defiant Ones," and other landmark movies in our series plus a photo gallery and some exclusive video stories on "Cabin in the Sky" and "Sounder." If you are an AOL TV subscriber you will be able to tune in on Sunday, February 18 at 8 pm ET and see a trivia enhanced version of "Cabin in the Sky." In conjunction with Black History month, our Book Club selection for February is "Writing Himself Into History: Oscar Michaeux, His Silent Films, and His Audiences" by Pearl Bowser and Louise Spense, a new work about this pioneer director of black cinema. You can try to win a free copy in our online sweepstakes.
