After graduation I went to work for the phone company. I married a wonderful girl, Diane, and while she is not a NB69er, (she's from Floral Park) it's been a great 32 years now. Our kids, Stephanie is married and doing great and James is also doing great; he is taking up the slack for me at verizon. I will be retiring this August after 31 years (James has 27 years to go). Still not as lucky as some others who have grandchildren... but we are hoping.
Rick Kenney After graduation, I attended Fairleigh Dickinson University obtaining a BA in Foreign Relations. In 1973, I reported for duty with the Navy, as a Naval Intelligence officer. I was involved in the cold war for the next 20 years and retired in June 1993. Ive been married twice, the first for 24 years begetting me two wonderful boys, Richard and James. I then married a warm wonderful southern belle from Alabama. After retiring I was a manager for Walgreens and GM-Chevrolet at several locations in Florida. When “9/11” happened, I answered the clarion call and hired on with the Transportation Security Agency for duty as a special security officer in Jacksonville, FL where I currently live.

I'm currently married to a wonderful man named Anthony. I am still working at the same place for the last 25 years...Nassau County Police Department. I am a detective in the Special Victims Squad. Both my daughters are police officers, one in Nassau County and the other with the NYPD. I love sailing and we have a beautiful sailboat. My one stepson is a cardiologist and my other stepson is a sales rep for a veterinary supply company.
My favorite year in High School was my Senior year. I am still friends with Anita (Doyle) Wiecht. Just recently her husband passed away. She is still my best friend. I enjoyed being on the cheerleading squad.
After high school I was proposed to by a person I barely knew and said, "Hey, why not?" Twenty three years later I decided I deserved better. So, one movie of the week later I divorced and headed back home to New York with two out of three kids.
I had a great support system (family) and made a new life. In 1994, I got some help to get my head on straight and took time to heal. From that point my life took on a new spin. I've been lighter, happier and after all this time, I met my Soulmate. Between us we have six children; we are blessed with a beautiful granddaughter, Alexa Paige. I describe myself as a survivor - I'm five years status-post breast cancer; I am a newly wed who has found real love for the first time in my life and I am a believer. I believe that good will always prevail, light will always follow darkness, and each and every single day is a gift from God.

(2008)Presently, I planned to have been retired from the United States Postal Service. I have 35 years and have been elected the National Vice President Area 3 (only 22 in the National Association of Postmaster of the United States). This term will end January 2011. At that time, I may retire or maybe not?

I have four children, 3 boys and 1 girl all adults now. I also have 7 grandchildren 3 boys and 4 girls. I work for a wonderful non profit organization in the accounting department and I love my job. I have been a widow since 1992 and I enjoy living alone.

I married my high school sweetheart in 1971 and moved to VA in 1976 for career opportunities. I lost Chuck in 1989, but he gave me 2 wonderful sons, Charlie, 26 and Robert, 23 who are a constant reminder of their dad. I still live in VA and married a wonderful guy and now have 2 more stepsons, a daughter-in-law and a fantastic grandson. I have changed careers a few times and currently work for the county Police Department in communications. I love my family, my life and enjoy my job.

This has been the most challenging set of photos to work on and display. You all should know that for a hefty fee I can painlessly and permanently add or remove hair!
If you have a photo you think is more becoming or more recent, please send it along to me. I can't take off the years but I can preserve the memories.
