Serial Experiments Lain
It all starts out with a suicidal named Chisa Yomada. Lain is a shy, high school girl. One day during school, a girl gets an e-mail from Chisa. She started to get afraid because Chisa was supposed to be dead. Then Lain founds out that she also has mail from Chisa. Chisa assures her that she isn't dead. She just left her body. She is still alive in the 'wired'. Well, after Lain gets her new navi (something like a computer) she starts to get more into the 'wired', until she is addicted to it. But she finds out that she has 2 personalities. One is her old shy self, the other is the total opposite. Her 2nd personality can also be dangerous, and Lain is turning more into her 2nd personality little by little.
(I'm sorry this isn't a really good synopsis of Lain. I'll change it when... I can ^^')
