VILLAINS (continued)
Name: Alan.
Alan is the tye-dyed freak that, with his girlfriend Ann, came to Earth to steal human energy to feed his pet tree. Actually, the tree, called the "Doom Tree" was the source of life for Alan and Ann's people. Therefore they had to keep it alive. Alan developed a major crush on Serena, but that didn't amount to much. In the end, Alan turned out to be an okay guy.
Seiyuu: Hikaru Midorikawa
Voice Actor: Vince Corraza
Name: Ann.
Alan's pink-haired girlfriend, with a crush on Darien. I don't understand why Takeuchi-san put so many love triangles, squares, and other assorted shapes in this series. Perhaps to keep things interesting. Ann had a tendancy to get a lot more jealous than Alan did, which posed problems since they were disguised as brother and sister.
Seiyuu: Yumi Touma
Voice Actor: Sabrina Grdevich
Name: Doom Tree.
The Doom Tree used to be known as the "Tree of Life". She was lonely, so she created people to live with her. She thrived on their happiness and love energy, until a few of the people were corrupted by the Negaverse. (The Negaverse is at the root of all ruin.) Then they, in turn, corrupted or killed the rest of their fellows and began feeding the Doom Tree evil energy and stolen energy. Alan and Ann were the last of their people, and grew up never knowing true love. When they brought the Doom Tree to Earth, she decided that she had had enough and ended up asking Sailor Moon to cleanse her. All that was left of her was a little itty-bitty sapling, which Alan and Anne chose to nurture.
Seiyuu: Unknown
Voice Actor: Liz Hannah
Name: Catzi/Cooan.
Catzi is the oldest of the four Dark Moon sisters. She loves Rubeus, her boss, but he can't stand her, so he uses her. Catzi doesn't seem to have much fashion sense. She wears an awful feathery tu-tu, and her hair is styled to look like a cat's ears. Eventually, Sailor Moon cleanses her and Catzi becomes human.
Seiyuu: Wakana Yamazaki
Voice Actor: Alice Poon (54 - 60); Mary Long (61+)
Name: Berti/Beruche.
Berti is the second oldest of the four sisters (I think). She has long blue hair, which she braids, and most of the time she hides the Dark Moon Family symbol with a braid going across her forehead. As a member of the Dark Moon Family, she is trying to catch Rini. She is most often seen wearing a blue leotard thingy, or a puffy dress. When she wears the dress, she carries a parasol. She, too, became human eventually.
Seiyuu: Yuri Amano
Voice Actor: Kathy Laskey
Name: Avery/Calaveras.
Avery is the second youngest of the four sisters (unless I have her and Berti switched around). She has brown hair and, like Berti, she braids it. Just not in the same style. She's the third to become human.
Seiyuu: Akiko Hiramatsu
Voice Actor: Jennifer Griffiths
Name: Prizma/Petz.
I used to have a game called Petz 4...I still have it, in fact, I just don't play it. And I don't think that it has anything to do with Prizma. Prizma is the youngest of the four sisters. She and Sapphire, Prince Diamond's brother, used to be in love. I have no idea what happened. She becomes human and lives with her sisters and meets up with Sapphire just before he dies. Nice, ne?
Seiyuu: Megumi Ogata
Voice Actor: Norma Dell'Agnese
Name: Rubeus
Rubeus is the red-headed jerk that is in charge of the four sisters. He gets in major trouble when he loses them. Catzi really likes him a lot, and he uses her more easily because of that. As I said, the guy is a jerk. Fortunately, when he tried to kill the scouts by blowing up his ship, they teleported away, and he was left to die by himself. Emerald did show up to laugh in his face, though.
Seiyuu: Wataru Takagi
Voice Actor: Rob Tinkler
Name: Esmeraude/Emerald
Emerald is the lady with the high-pitched laugh and yellow green hair. I really don't like her. She had a major crush on Prince Diamond, though I think it was really just his power that she liked. Anyway, she failed Prince Diamond and so she begged Wise Man for help. He infused her with the power of the Dark Crystal or something like that which turned her into a dragon and then she died.
Seiyuu: Mami Koyama
Voice Actor: Kirsten Bishop
Name: Sapphire
Sapphire is (was) Prince Diamond's younger brother. He used to be in love with Prizma, but for some reason that didn't work out and he developed a crush on Emerald. He believed that Wise Man was poisoning his brother's mind (which was true) and "betrayed" the Dark Moon family by stealing some sort of disk. He and Prizma got back together just before Wise Man killed him.
Seiyuu: Unknown
Voice Actor: Lyon Smith
Name: Prince Demando/Prince Diamond
Prince Diamond was the head of the Dark Moon family. Supposedly, he called the shots. But his advisor, Wise Man, seemed to do more of it than he did. Diamond was in love with Serena, kind of like everyone else. He made a big deal out of the fact that she cried for him when he died. Wise Man killed him, too, by the way. Diamond wasn't really evil, just misguided. He was really pretty, though.
Seiyuu: Kaneto Siozawa
Voice Actor: Robert Bockstael
Name: Wise Man/The Doom Phantom
Takeuchi-san seems to have a thing for Doom, doesn't she? The Doom and Gloom Girls, The Doom Tree, The Doom Phantom...Anyway, Wise Man was an odd one. Half the time he referred to the Doom Phantom as his master, and the other half...Well, he turned out to be the Doom Phantom. Rini and Serena destroyed him when they both used their versions of the Imperium Silver Crystal on him.
Seiyuu: Unknown
Voice Actor: Tony Daniels
This is the end of the second section of villains. There are way too many of these people! I am so glad that Jessi decided against doing a section on the Monsters-of-the-Day! If I were the scouts, faced with all these enemies, I'd curl up in the corner with a cookie.

This is why I'm not introducing you to the Monsters-of-the-Day.
