Things were really getting better between Mamoru
and Usagi. Slowly, they started caring about each other...
Usagi secretly kept Mamoru's locket clock,
so when she met him again, she wanted to return it to him....
"It's alright, you can keep it. If I had
something belonging to you, I would keep it too!" Mamoru warmly
said, referring to the handkerchief Usagi dropped at the masquerade.
"We'll exchange our belongings later,
OK?" Mamoru continued.
"Sure..." Usagi cooed, trying to
be as coy as she could. She was in love!
The Dark Kingdom wasted no time in continuing
their attack. Using Tokyo Tower, Kunzite absorbed people's energy and directed
it to the Dark Kingdom and Metallia. Realising the attack, the scouts rushed
to Tokyo Tower. There, they confronted Kunzite. In the battle, Kunzite
aimed a blast towards Sailormoon, knocking her off the the tower! Falling,
Sailormoon thought she would soon die...
And then, miraculously, Tuxedo Mask caught her in his arms!
"Tuxedo Mask! I can't believe it... You
saved me again!"
Gaining so much from his encouragement
all this while, Usagi no longer felt afraid in confronting the enemies.
"It's dangerous here! We're fighting the
enemy! Get yourself away from here!"
And with that, Sailormoon sealed her words
with a kiss.....
Kunzite was much more powerful than the Sailor
Scouts thought. He prepared to kill them after accumulating all his power.
Sailormoon saw this, and used her Moon Stick to protect her friends. But
that meant that noone would be able to protect Sailormoon....
"This time, I WILL protect her!!!"
thought Tuxedo Mask....
As
Kunzite directed his deadly blast towards Sailormoon, Tuxedo Mask rushed
in front of her and took the blast himself to save her life.....
"Tuxedo
Mask!!! NNOOO!!!!"
Mamoru (Half-conscious, thinking to himself):
* (He sees Sailormoon crying for him)Why are you crying?...You look so
sad... He begins to remember something... The same thing happened
before! He remembered Princess Serenity crying for him, "Endymion!" Mamoru
remembers.... "Endymion.... That's MY name!"
"I was born into this karma as Mamoru
Chiba..... To see you here.... "
With his last breath, Mamoru tenderly touched
Sailormoon's face, whispering, "My Serenity......." And with
that, he died in her arms.....
"NNOO!!!" Sailormoon cried. Suddenly, the moon
symbol appeared on her forehead... Transforming Sailormoon into Princess
Serenity...
Suddenly, she remembered her past life
with Endymion from the Silver Millennium...
"I remember everything now, Endymion...
Please open your eyes! We were reincarnated in this new life to find each
other... It was so hard to meet again, and now this.... How can this be
fate??!!! TUXEDO MASK! Don't leave me! I hardly said anything to you...
"
"....I love you... You're the man I love
with all my heart...."
She said, crying. As Usagi/Serenity said this,
a tear drop fell and crystalized. Suddenly, the night was filled with an
intense light, as Usagi's tear drop became the Silver Crystal everyone
was searching for! Beryl commanded Kunzite to capture Serenity, but the
Sailor Scouts barricaded Serenity. In the struggle, Serenity lost her grip
on Tuxedo Mask, and Kunzite seized him instead. Holding Tuxedo Mask, Kunzite
vanished into thin air.....
