Story
Key is a robot, constructed by Murao Mima, her "grandfather." One day he is mysteriously killed, however, he left a tape behind for Key to listen to his last final words. He tells her that she still has a chance to become human...if she can find 30,000 friends.
Now Key wants nothing more than to become human. She sets out for Tokyo in search for friends. There, she meets an old friend from Junior High, Sakura. Sakura is suprised to see Key in Tokyo allows Key to stay at her place for as longs as she wants. Will Key be able to make 30,000 friends?
