The
Dead Moon Circus came about after Queen Neherenia wanted Pegasus' Golden
Crystal, which would allow her to stay beautiful, never growing old or ugly.
With the help of her powerful subject, Zirconia, could Queen Neherenia obtain
this crystal. She speaks to Zirconia through a mirror, since she is unable
to escape and come into this world, and is quite patient with his failures
for a while. The Amazon Trio were created through three animals, a hawk,
a tiger, and a fish, and were only allowed to stay human while they held
special crystals. They were the first to try and find the dreamer who dreamed
of Pegasus, take their Golden Mirror, and then obtain the Golden Crystal
from him. If they failed in finding the Golden Mirror, they were to destroy
the victim's dream mirror anyway, in case Pegasus wanted to reside there
in the future. After many, many failed attempts and even death, they were
healed by Pegasus and given their very own dream mirror. The next enemy
was the Amazoness Quartet, who had the same mission. They were given balls
with special powers that would keep them young forever so they could always
dream beautiful dreams. After Sailor Moon convinced them that they could
dream beautiful dreams without the magic balls, they destroyed them, releasing
themselves from Queen Neherenia's spell. Sailor Moon and the Sailor Scouts
go on to save Rini from Neherenia's clutches after it was found out that
she is the dreamer of Pegasus. |
