The school day seemed to go by much slower then usual. The lectures and lessons were mostly reviews so Rowen made very few notes. But he couldn’t blame the teachers for that totally. He was very excited about going to the science fair and that made him feel distracted. But luckily days don’t last forever and Rowen was finally able to leave.

Rowen went to a different high school than Ally. After all, the gorgeous girl lived in the city. Also the young man didn’t have a car so that left him at a disadvantage when it came to dates. But Ally did happen to have a car, a fancy blue Mustang at that. It was similar to Sage’s, only the color was different. Sage happened to have a white sports vehicle.

The blue haired teen now stood leaned against the high school wall. A lot had changed since he became a Ronin. He had received armor and the best friends any tight scheduled guy could ever have. And just a year ago he had met the girl that he couldn’t believe existed. An angel was what he thought of her. She couldn’t be any ordinary girl. She was too special and precious, just too perfect.

Rowen smiled. He couldn’t believe he of all people had her to love.

“There’s some catch to this.” He said quietly. He lifted his eyes to the sound of a car engine.

“Hey Rowen! Ready to go?” A silver-headed girl called to him. A pair of diamond blue eyes sparkled from underneath her tan cowboy hat. The seventeen-year-old was a woman named Ally Nako. She was the leader of the Scouts since Serena took the throne on the moon, Sailor Uranus. Her hair was pearl white silver and she made any one who looked at her stare in amazement. She wore a black tank and blue jeans. She almost always had on some slip-on tennis shoes.

“Whenever you are!” Rowen said smiling. He hopped in the front passenger side and Ally drove off. Rowen smiled to himself while Ally sang along to a song on the radio. She had a wonderful voice.

“Someday I’m gonna drive.”

“Not in this car.” Ally said winking at him. Her small hoop earrings blew into her ear from the wind.

“Watch me girl! I’m driving on the way home.”

“No way.”

“Come on!”

“Sorry Charlie.”

“My hair matches the paint job.”

“True…” Ally sighed. “Oh, alright.”

A smile of satisfaction spread over Rowen’s face. He didn’t notice that after awhile Ally’s face became quite serious. ‘Why do I feel like something’s happening?’ She asked herself. She shook her head. ‘I’m just hallucinating.’

“Hey are you ok?”

“Yeah.” She said quite calmly.

They arrived at the fair, which was packed as a bee’s hive. People all over were going in and out all the time.

“Got our tickets right?” Ally asked.

“Got them right here.” Rowen handed Ally’s to her.

They entered without any trouble from waiting in line. They happened to see that Amy and Cye had come too.

The party decided to meet up by the ice cream booth by the entrance in an hour.

Rowen took Ally’s hand and they walked through admiring all the art works of science. There were models of bulbs with electricity and many scientists conducting experiments.

Rowen was relieved to find that Ally had brought a small notebook for jotting down notes. He had left his in the car. He took down many notes and filled up the entire book. That was when they had almost seen the entire exhibit of displays.

Ally never admitted to Rowen how uneasy she felt through the process. Time after time she tried to kick the feeling out of her head but couldn’t shake off the queer uneasiness. The earth below her feet seemed to scream at her. Ally ignored it but felt forced to gaze up at the sky. ‘What’s wrong with me?’ She wondered. She stared up at the friendly, cloudless sky and saw nothing except a bright, yellow, shining sun.

“Awesome out today isn’t it?” Rowen asked filling up the last piece of space the notebook had with notes.

“Yes it is.” Ally said wonderingly.

She kept her gaze planted almost certain there was something there that she couldn’t see.

“Rowen…” She started to say.

“Yeah?” Rowen said looking up.

“Do you feel alright?”

Rowen stared at her confused. “I feel great. Why?”

“It’s nothing. I just got this feeling like there’s something wrong.”

“Like what?”

“I don’t know.”

“Did you study for that spring exam?”

“I studied with you.”

“Did you pass?”

“With flying colors.”

It was when she said this that Rowen noticed something. He walked to where she stood and looked up at the sky.

“I don’t see anything.”

“Neither do I.”

Rowen smiled. “You should take it easy. Why don’t you come with me for an ice cream or something?”

“Ok.” She tore her gaze from the sky and felt pulled to gaze up at it again. She took Rowen’s hand for comfort.

“I can’t shake that feeling off.” She whispered while Rowen paid for two cherry pops

“Talk to me about it.” He said sitting on a picnic bench.

“Well I feel like something’s coming.”

“Yeah? What?” Rowen asked sucking his pop.

“I don’t know.” Her face fell. “I think I must be going through a phase.” She licked her popsicle and decided it was best to change the subject.

It wasn’t long before Cye and Amy dropped by and shared what they took down.

“I never knew science could be this fascinating.” Cye said looking at Rowen’s notes.

“You should borrow some of my books.” Rowen said with a grin. “I have tons on science.”

“I already have a rocket scientist here with me.” Cye said warmly looking at Amy.

The young girl blushed.

“Thanks. But there’s still a lot I don’t know about science.”

“You know a lot more then I do.”

“Excuse me guys.” Ally said standing. Before Rowen could ask if she was all right Ally disappeared into the crowd and went to the restroom area. ‘What is wrong with me?’ Ally asked in her head. She looked up at the sky. ‘What could happen to us now? When we have such a wonderful sun?’ She thought awhile and pondered on the sky before jumping from a familiar voice.

“Hello…Sailor Uranus.”

Ally turned to face a woman two inches taller then her. Her thin hair was a black purple and wrapped tight in a ponytail. The woman’s face and complexion was a tan and her eyes were a deep dark purple. Her dress was a white sweatshirt with a hood and an ankle long jean skirt.

“Who are you?” Ally asked.

“We have never met. Tara Fanoki. I’m a Sailor Scout, Sailor Black Star.”

“I’ve heard of you. Why are you here, Tara?”

“I’ve made a mistake. You’ve felt it already I know, an evil force that’s still deep in space. You’ve chosen to ignore your feelings that warn you because you are so sure that nothing can threaten you now.” She turned her stare from Ally to the sky.

“It’s coming and I’m here to prevent the destruction it will cause. Prepare yourselves for the worst.”

“Wha-what is coming?”

Tara turned and stared out at the crowd of people.

“You are blinded still. I wonder if you will see through eyes that block the view once you realize there is no way out but to fight.”

“What do you mean?”

“I will see you again soon. Until then, why not stop and see your friend Raye?”

“Raye? What’s wrong with her?! Hey! Where are you!?” But before she could finish Tara disappeared.
