Pleasant M and Mary Tinker Pyatt

Pleasant Monroe Pyatt was born in September 1874 in Pyatt Hollow, Crawford County, Missouri to Reverend Daniel Washington and Margaret 'Mary' A Bryant Pyatt. He married in Harmony Township, Washington County, Missouri, on September 23, 1894, Mary Elizabeth Tinker. Mary was born in January 22, 1879 in Misssouri to Harrison and Melzenie Avis Pyatt Tinker and died February 13, 1940. Mary's mother was the daughter of Benjamin and Avis Eggers Pyatt which makes her and Pleasant first cousins. Mary is buried in the Big River Cemetery, Washington County, Missouri.

Their marriage license was for 'Pleasant M Pyatt of Harmony Twp., Washington Co., Mo. under 21' and 'Mary Tinker of Harmony Twp., Washington Co., Mo. under 18'. The parents gave their consent to this marriage in writing (22 September 1894 license). They married on 23 September 1894 by John W Flowers, JP, at Harrison Tinker's, in Washington County.

Pleasant and Mary had the following known children:
