Most
origami models are made with a square piece of paper. If
you don't have this paper or a paper that is square, just follow
these simple instructions to make one.

To
make your own square, take a sheet of paper and fold
diagonally, so that side "a" meets side
"b". |

Cut
along red line. You can also fold and re-fold along the
red line until there is a sharp crease, and tear the
section off.
You now have a perfect square. |
That's
all there is to it. Now let's move on and learn the basic
folds.
