A small kingdom on the Sto Plains side of the Ramtop Mountains, between Whale Bay and Überwald. Has a population (mainly humans, trolls and dwarfs) of about 500. It's main exports are iron ore, gold and people. Lancre seems to be one of those tiny places made specifically for making people who leave for the big cities and become famous. The only town is Lancre Town, but there are several small villages - Slice, Razorback, Mad Stoat, Bad Ass, Skund, and Brass Neck.
The kingdom is currenly ruled by King Verence II and Queen Magrat Garlick.
