Serving through Good Sportsmanship

Written by Zackery Taylor Reeve

Sheba: I am the best gymnastics kitty around. I always tumble when I am suppose to and I always win the blue ribbon. Mew know every kitty in the world should bow down and worship me for being the best gymnastics kitty in the world.

Blessed: Mew might think mew are the best just because mew beat me in the tumbling round but mewr attitude stinks because mew always go around and brag about what mew do and no one will respect mew for that.

Sheba: Oh yeah, I am the best and why don't mew clean up that mess mew just made. Mew are so messy and dirty. I cant stand being around mew.

Blessed:(starts to pout) Mew always hurt my feelings and I cant help but think mew have a giant head on mew.

Later on in the gym:

Zackery: Mellow Blessed! A wonderpurr day isn't it?

Blessed: It would be but I can't help thinking about how Sheba always acts. Why is she always hissing at me and never gets along wif me?

Zackery: Mew know I have noticed that too and I think she needs a course on how to serve through good sportsmanship. Sometimes mew might be the best in a sport or something but mew might be hurting those around mew and then no one will like mew because mew don't take time to serve and think of others.

Serving others through good Sportsmanship

Welcome to serving others through good sportsmanship! We all like to play games and win but sometimes to win we must be servants. The loser sometimes is the one that wins because of the attitude displayed and sometimes the loser is actually the winner because of having a servant attitude, One needs to think about the attitude they display rather they win or lose. When one sees another win or lose they should get the right attitude no matter what. Lets face the facts: Attitude is 99.5% of what serving others in sports is all about. The attitude can make mew a winner or loser. The attitude can cause mew to make furriends while mew are playing or cause mew to have no furriends which often causes many to leave the sport they are playing.

In this class we will make it a positive experience, anotherwards we will look at the positive ways to act and not so much the don'ts. We will discuss how to serve if mew are the winner, how to serve if mew are the looser, how to serve in either case, and in the end mew will have an exam.

  1. Serving others wif sportsmanship if mew are the winner.
  2. Serving others wif sportsmanship if mew are the one who lost.
  3. Serving others wif sportsmanship in either case.
  4. Summary before the exam.
