Essential Oil Tips
Aromatherapy: aro·ma·ther·a·py - noun - The use of volatile plant oils, including essential oils, for psychological and physical well-being.
Essential oils are concentrated, fragrant substances extract from plant sources. They are commonly used for aromatherapy applications such as air diffusion and body application.
For great smelling sheets, towels and clothes, put a few drops of your favorite essential oil on a small piece of cloth and throw in the dryer.
To relieve mental fatique at the office, put a few drops of rosemary or peppermint oil on a tissues and breathe the scent.
For a stuffy nose add 2 drops of eucalyptus oil, 2 drops of rosemary and 1 drop of peppermint oil in a vial that has 1 tablespoon of rock salt. Inhale and feel that passages open up.
Relaxing oils - lavender, ylang-ylang, sandalwood
Energizing oils - rosemary, peppermint, geranium, lemon, lime
Uplifting oils - bergamot, orange, patchouli
Antiseptic oils - tea tree, eucalyptus, lavender
Muscle aches oils - eucalyptus, lavender, rosemary
Carrier Oil Tips
For Massage - Use 1 oz. of carrier oil to 15 drops of essential oils
For Facial Oil - Use 1 oz. of carrier oil to 25 drops of essential oils.
For Hair or Scalp - Use 1 oz. of carrier oil to 25 drops of essential oils.
