October 8, 2000 - Sunday
Today was a good day...generally quite quiet, but nice. I got up around noon, watched
my movie show and then I did laundry.
Laundry took forever. I hate this old fashioned machine! I watched a video this afternoon...Palmetto.
It was okay, but nothing really special.
I also cleaned up a little. Not much, I still should vacuum and all.
In the evening I put on a video that my sister had sent, until it was time to go to
the movies. I rang on Justin's bell and we walked up the hill, caught the train
and went to the movie. We met his friend Kayo and went to see X-Men. It was great.
A lot of fun, I'm not sure when I've had so much fun at a movie. One character is introduced
in "Northern Alberta", but it wasn't any part of Alberta that I'd ever seen. I thought
about my friend Ay-Ay before I watched the film. I used to tape the Saturday morning cartoon of The X-Men for him.
On the way home Justin met up with some of the competitor's teachers, so I talked
to Kayo. It was fun, and nice to talk to someone who doesn't work with me for a
change.
When I came home I watched "The Rock" which I taped while I was out. It's nice to
see it again. It's an action flick that grew on me. I do think it's funny that
a 60 year old British Agent who had been in prison for 30 years could beat a bunch
of American soldiers supposedly in peak condition.
I still have one more video to watch , but I'm not sure if I will or not.
Anyway, I think I'm stopping for tonight....Night!
