February 9, 2002 - Saturday
A snowy and cold day.
I finally got up this morning around 10, even though I slept in, I was still tired.
We had breakfast at home today, and then Fumihiko drove me to work.
Work was okay. One of my private classes came yesterday, so she didn't come today.
That meant I could do a bit of planning for today's classes. They went quite well
I think. Hurray!
Fumihiko picked me up around 9:40 and we drove home via 7-11. He bought me some decaffeinated
tea. Isn't that nice?
The weather for the last couple of weeks had been quite nice, but now it's cold and
snowy. Tomorrow is to be the same so even though this is a long weekend, we'll likely
stay home. Sigh.
Oh, I forgot one thing. Today when I went to Jusco to get my lunch there was a woman
with a small boy ahead of me. She moved her groceries and while she did that he took
off. She came back and couldn't find him and started to get that worried look that
mothers get. I tried to point his direction out to her but she didn't see me. Then,
finally, I managed to catch her eye and pointed her in the right direction. She
grabbed him and said thanks to me. Sometimes I wish that I could speak better Japanese,
and that was one time. Still, nothing happened and I was happy to help.
That's it. Tomorrow could be a boring day. I hope!
