January 31, 2002 - Thursday
A snowy, snowy day.
I went to the apartment with Fumihiko this morning, took a nice little nap and watched
Star Trek Voyager. I was enjoying it so much that I forgot I was supposed to leave
for work at 11:00 and at ten minutes past I realized that I had to leave NOW! The
episode wasn't finished yet, and it was darn good.
I walked to work, making a stop at the post office. Then, I clocked in and ran over
to the bakery.
Classes were pretty good today, I think. I had 6 and at the end of the day I was
really tired. It feels like this has been a long, long week! Of course, this was
also the major paperwork day too. Sigh. I finally left the school around 10 pm.
Fumihiko and I talked a bit on the way home about our past jobs. We've both had some
interesting ones. He used to be a policeman, and a security guard and a steel salesman.
I used to be a hotel desk clerk, a summer maintenance worker and of course a bank teller. We parked in the 7-11 parking lot for a few minutes before we went in.
It was nice to talk and find out new things about each other.
And that's it. I came home and ate supper and then I'll likely take a shower soon
and go to bed. So endeth my day!
