July 2, 2002 - Tuesday
Pouring rain all day. Damp and very, very humid.
A pretty good day. I went to the apartment and tried out my new Playstation game,
Tetris. I really enjoyed it. I have it on my computer but the screen is in black
and white so I can't see all the bright colours.
In my classes I had two new students today. It was interesting what it did to our
class dynamics. I think it is mostly a positive thing.
Before work I came to the school, then left again to go to the post office. I promised
someone that I would mail her something and it had to go before work today. By the
time I got back to the school I was pouring with sweat, and my hair was soaked, even
though I used an umbrella.
Nothing much happened at work today. I talked to Lynden today, the teacher in Sakata,
and we talked about doing something on the weekend. No plans were made yet, just
a bit of talk.
And that's pretty much it. I was quite busy today, even though a lot of students didn't
come.
