May 27, 2002 - Monday
Sunny and nice day.
I got up this morning with Fumihiko and went to the apartment. I watched a few of
the extra features on the DVD of The Matrix and then I decided to take a nap. I
haven't slept much lately, so I really needed one. I set my alarm for 10:30 and
bedded down at 9 am. At 10:30 I decided I needed more sleep and turned off my alarm. I finally
got out of bed at 11:45! I couldn't believe that I had slept so long. I made lunch,
pasta with basil sauce and watched some TV. I watched last night's episode of Roswell and the Will and Grace from the weekend too. I enjoyed both of them.
I did laundry and took a shower before watching more of The Matrix. Then I left to
catch the bus.
The bus to the mall wasn't crowded today and I had a nice trip. I snoozed a bit, but
not as much as usual. At the mall I went and played a couple of games in the Game
Center, before hitting the coffee shop. Fumihiko joined me there.
We decided to go and see The Panic Room and went for fast food before the movie.
I had KFC and he had takoyaki. For those of you who don't know, takoyaki are little
dough balls filled with octopus. They are surprisingly tasty and filling.
At the theatre, he bought the tickets and I bought the popcorn and we went in. The
movie was great! It was a quite intelligent thriller. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.
After the show we bought a few groceries and then headed to the apartment to pick
up my clean clothes and then home. We ate supper at home and soon we'll be retiring
for the night. I had a good day.
I still have a bit of voice strain, but I'm mostly better. I hope that I'll be better
in the next couple of days.
